Miller, Robert F., age 90, of Centerville, passed away on Nov. 18. He was born in 1926 in Anderson, IN.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Terri Miller Noll and his wife, Doris (Dee) Miller.

Bob graduated from Denison University after serving as a signalman in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was a radio announcer for WCLT in Newark before beginning his 30 year career as an Industrial products district manager with B.F. Goodrich until his retirement in 1985.

Bob was passionate about swing and big band music. After retirement, he shared his favorite swing era music with radio listeners on his WMUB – Oxford program "The Sunny Side of the Street".

He was also a proud member of Sigma Chi fraternity. Bob was also a Washington Twp. Park Board Commissioner responsible for appropriating many acres of land to preserve as park and green space. Bob was also the long-time campaign manager for local House Rep. Bob Corbin. He loved golf, bridge and long road trips with his wife. During retirement, he and Dee drove through all 48 contiguous states.

Bob is survived by his Daughter, Shawn Miller Phelps, two grand-daughters and two great grandsons.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 29 at 11:00am at David's UCC Church on David Rd., Kettering.

In lieu of flowers, donations to David's UCC Church or the Eastman Charitable Foundation, a land conservation organization, PO Box 1825, Grantham, NH 03753, would be appreciated.
