McGEE, Robert "Shag" age 79 passed away August 8, 2011 at The Sanctuary at Wilmington Place.
He is preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, and 3 sisters.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Dolores; daughters, Roberta "Bobbie" (Mike) Fields, Marsha Rose, and Diana Roush; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Maggie and Rosie; brother-in-law, Ralph (Betty) Warner; and numerous other family members and friends. Shag was a volunteer for the Riverside Senior Citizens. He was a loving husband and father who will be greatly missed.
A gathering of friends will be held Thursday, August 11, 2011 from 1:30 pm until the time of service at 2:30 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home – Beavercreek, 3380 Dayton-Xenia RD.
