Robert Mccormack

Robert H. McCormack, 72, of Tipp City, passed away January 2, 2017. Robert was born in San Diego, California on September 21, 1944 to the late Loren and Marian McCormack. Robert retired from Wright Patterson Air Force after 20 years of service. He worked at the VA for 18 years as a drug and alcohol abuse counselor. He was a member of Ginghamsburg Church for many years. In his free time he enjoyed clogging, line dancing, singing tenor and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Cheryl McCormack; son, Michael (Elizabeth) McCormack; grandsons, Noah McCormack, Liam McCormack; brother, Brian (Dr. Kay) McCormack; sisters, Judy (Rick) Olson, Wendy Seals and Bill Tucker, Dr. Heather McCormack; and several other relatives and special friends.

A visitation will be held on Monday, January 9, 2017 from 12:30 pm-1:30 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, where funeral services will begin at 1:30 pm. Burial will follow at Dayton National Cemetery.
