Robert Taylor Mast, age 79 of West Milton, passed away surrounded by his family on July 22, 2018. Bob was born in Englewood, Ohio to the late John Taylor and Ivadel Florence Mast. He graduated in 1957 from Randolph Senior High School. After completing his education, Robert enlisted in the United States Army. He faithfully and honorably served for two years.
Bob met and married the love of his life, Rita Lowry. The two shared many happy and loving years until her passing in 2016. Robert was a hardworking and dedicated man. He owned and operated his own construction business, Robert Mast Construction for many years. Bob was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and bird watching in his free time. He was a very "crafty" man and was skilled at painting and crafting. He could always be counted on to help a friend or family member in need.
Robert was a kind, caring, and loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his loving wife, Rita Mast; and sisters, Judy Mast and Dorothy Hall-Lee.
Robert leaves to cherish his memory, daughters, Penny Day and Beth Silveira; granddaughters, Diana (Andy) Vicen, Madison Silveira; brother, Thomas Mast; and several other relatives and special friends.
Bob's Memorial Picnic will be held on August 11th from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
