MARTIN, Robert G.

age 84 of West Carrollton, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2005 at Kettering Memorial Hospital. Robert was born March 8, 1921, the son of Henry Irwin and Bertha Mae Martin, both deceased. He was preceded in death by Willora Stewart his wife of 57 years. He served our country in the United States Navy during World War II. Robert also served as a Boy Scout Leader with Troup #316. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a great planner and organizer. Robert is survived by his companion, Jean E. Usleman; children, Jerry (Renate) Martin, Judith Martin, and Jim (Patti) Martin; sister, Mabel (Johnny) Treber; grandchildren, Angela (Sam) Cox, Andrea Martin (Jeff), Rob (Rebecca) Martin, Tyfeni (Ebaen) Parnell, and Tara Martin; and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Jack Martin; brothers, Kenny, Dick, Redge, and Ed Martin; one granddaughter; and one great grandson. Family will receive friends 1:00-4:00 p.m. Sunday, October 9, 2005 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
