Robert M. Walters born September 18, 1948 went home to rest in God's arms July 4, 2016.
He was a devoted family man who loved God with all of his heart.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Alice (Hicks) Walters in 1997, his father Samuel Walters in 2007, his mother Dorothy (Goins) Walters in 1989, and a step daughter Angela Hornsby.
He is survived by his loving, devoted wife of 15 years Yvonne Walters.
A son Robert Daniel (Tracy) Walters of Fairborn, Ohio and a daughter Sharon Rosa (David) Hyatt of Fairborn, Ohio.
Two step sons Nathan Stupp of Medway, Ohio and Kevin Hornsby of Centerville, Ohio.
Four grandsons Thomas J. Hyatt and Isaiah L. Hyatt and Ethan M. Walters and Chase D. Walters all of Fairborn, Ohio.
As well as 11 step grandchildren.
He is also survived by 3 sisters. Brenda Harris and Janelle Walters of Naples, Florida and Patricia Crabtree of Dayton, Ohio and a brother Larry Walters of LeHigh Acres, Florida. As well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be on Monday July 11,2016 at 12 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home 3380 Dayton Xenia Rd. Beavercreek, Ohio
Family will receive visitors at 11 am one hour prior to service.
Interment will be at Byron Cemetery in Fairborn.
