Robert M. Adams Jr., age 70, of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 2, 2021.
Bob was born in Dayton on September 23, 1950 to the late Robert Sr. & Carmel (Rilling) Adams.
He is survived by his siblings, Karen (Jay) Wilson, Mike Adams (Regina Walker) and Lori (Jeff) Northern; nieces, Kelly Ferguson and Elizabeth (Chris) Tyren; nephew, Alex Adams; great-niece, Amanda Ferguson; great-nephew, Matthew Tyren; and many other relatives and friends.
Bob proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. He got his degree in Theater from Sinclair. Bob went on to be a magician, make-up artist, he acted in and did the pyrotechnics in Blue Jacket, face painting at festivals, and helped design latex masks for Act One. Bob was the backstage manager at LaComedia for many years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bellbrook, where he served in the children's ministry.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Bellbrook "The Brook", 4100 W. Franklin St., Bellbrook, OH 45305.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to his family to help with funeral expenses.
