Robert James Lloyd

Robert James "Bob" Lloyd, age 73, of Kettering, passed away on December 11, 2020. He was born in Iron Mountain, Michigan, on February 24, 1947, the son of the late John and Cecilia Lloyd.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his best friend, Deborah Lloyd.

Bob is survived by his loving children, Katherine Bost and Paul (Bobbi) Lloyd; grandchildren, Michael Lloyd, Embri and Oliver Lloyd; step-son, Steve (Toni) Lloyd and his children, Skylar, Jayden and Drake; siblings, John Lloyd, Nancy Welling and Jane Underwood; and many other loving family and friends.

He retired from Grainger, where he had worked in the Sales Department for over 20 years. Bob served his country proudly in the Vietnam War, as a member of the United States Army. He was a hard worker for his entire life, when he did have free time, he adored spending those moments with his family and friends. One of his favorite things to do was watch the annual firework displays.

Visitation will be held from 10:00am-11:00am, on Sunday, December 20th , 2020, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, where services will begin at 11:00am.
