Lester, Robert L. age 81, of Yellow Springs, Ohio passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2020. He was born in Grundy, Virginia on August 20, 1938 to the late Zed Franklin and Elsie Mae Lester (nee Carlton).
He was preceded in death by his brothers, James C. Lester and Roger A. Lester; nephews, Joey Howard and Teddy Lester; and niece Stephanie Perrin.
Robert is survived by his children, Robert "Bobby" L. (Debbie Totten) Lester, Jr. and Jeanie Newman; grandson, Zane Michael Lester; granddaughter, Aniah Lester; brothers, Ron (Max) Lester and William Z. (Debbie) Lester; sisters, Christine (Gary) Army and Margaret (Vince) Larents; nephews and great-nephews, Ronald (Kasey) Lester Jr., Jerry Lester, Ron Lester, Willie Howard, Donnie Howard, Roger Lester, Jessie Hunter, Jordan Hunter, and Derrick Hunter; nieces and great-nieces, Kathy (Dewayne) Reeves, Amber Perrin, Sherry O'Connor, Jade Perrin, Tonya and Holly, Cassandra, Sissy, and Morgan; and a host of other family members and friends.
In memory of Robert, contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
Graveside Service will be 2:00 pm Thursday, July 16, 2020 at Bryon Cemetery, 3256 Trebein Road, Fairborn, Ohio 45324
