Robert Lee Kuhn Sr., 76, of New Carlisle, passed away April 1, 2014. He was born June 17, 1937 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of the late Charles and Winifred (Gentry) Kuhn Sr.
He attended elementary school in Farmersville and Dixie High School in New Lebanon. Bob served his country as an Army Veteran. He worked over 30 years for General Motors and was a member of the AmVets #464 in Huber Heights and past member of the Eagles. Bob was a founding member of the Lyre Lake Fishing Club in Fairborn, OH. He loved fishing and being outdoors in nature.
In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife, Sharon (Durham) Kuhn on November 26, 1984; his daughter, Pamela K. Kuhn on September 26, 1979; brothers, Charles Jr, James, David, Marvin; sister, Helen Walker; and a special friend, Rosey Manuel.
Robert is survived by his two sons, Barry R. (Kimberly) Kuhn of Huber Heights, Robert L. Kuhn Jr. of Vandalia; grandsons, Robbie, Brian and Chris; granddaughter, Ashley Jenkins; numerous great grandchildren; brother, Raymond (Joanne) Kuhn of Brookville; sisters, Charlene (Ted) Hiehle of Miamisburg, Anna Urschel of New Haven, IN, Rose Hale of Bryan, TX; many nieces, nephews and good friends.
A visitation will be held from 9 -11 AM Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, where funeral services will begin at 11 AM Saturday.
