Robert Lee Henderson
Age 43, was born May 15, 1963 in Dayton, Ohio to James (Sr) and Beulah Henderson. Robert departed from this life to be with the Lord Wednesday, August 30, 2006. Robert was a member of Unity Missionary Baptist Church, 2915 McCall St. where he served on the Finance Committee as Assistant Treasurer. He also helped out in other areas of the church. Robert and his kids joined Shiloh Baptist Church on August 7, 2005. Robert was a former employee of Price Store for three years and also Rally's with over 14 years of service. Robert enjoyed spending time with his kids which he loved very much. Also enjoyed sports and fishing with the kids. Robert was a very devoted son, brother, father, uncle and friend. Robert was a graduate of Dayton Dunbar High School Class of 1981. Robert was preceded in death by his parents James (Sr) and Beulah Henderson; one sister, Dedre Henderson; grand parents, Emmitt Ford and Rose Lee Johnson and Thomas and Carrie Henderson; one great uncle, Earl Johnson; five uncles, John L. Simmons, Calvin Cooper, Earl Johnson, Nathan Finley and Leo Boykins; two aunts, Mary Finley and Joann Simmons. He is survived by one daughter, Mariah Nicole Henderson; two sons, Robert Thomas James Henderson and James Micheal Williams; mother of his kids, Talitha D. Henderson; one nephew, Thomas E. Henderson; one brother, James (Jr) (Sheila) Henderson; two uncles, Glenn Johnson and Jimmie (Jerri) Henderson; three aunts, Elerixa Johnson, Martha Henderson and Sarah Boykins; devoted God Mother, Margie Allen; father and mother-in-law, Thomas & Helen Williams; and by a host of brother and sisters-in-law; nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon, Tuesday, September 5, at Shiloh Baptist Church, 3801 Fairbanks Avenue, Dayton. The family will be receiving family and friends at the church from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Interment will follow at West Memory Gardens. After committal services at the cemetery family and friends are invited back to the church for a time of food and fellowship.
