age 72 of Kettering passed away Monday, October 23, 2006 at Miami Valley Hospital. Bob was born August 6, 1934, in Dayton, OH, the son of Francis and Evelyn Steele. He served our country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was an avid sports fan. Bob is survived by his daughters, Debbi Andrews and Kim Steele; devoted son-in-law, Dana Andrews; granddaughters, Tonya and TJ Andrews; brothers, Jim (Margie) Steele, Bill (Judy) Steele, and Greg (Carrie) Steele; sisters, Beverly Flaugher and Rosie (Chuck) Craycraft; special sisters-in-law, Mary Boone and Pat Raiff; mother-in-law, Magdalen Mahle; brothers-in-law, Bob, Bill, Tom, and Dave Mahle; numerous nieces and nephews; and canine companion, Tara. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Janet Steele. Family will receive friends 5:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 26, 2006 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday at Church of the Ascension, 2025 Woodman Drive, Kettering.
