Robert Laux, age 75, of Riverside passed away March 7, 2014. He was born April 9, 1938 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of Eugene and Helen (Boehm) Laux. He is preceded in death by his wife Frances (Thompson) Laux.
He is survived by his sons Steve (Vicki) Laux, Larry (Heidi) Laux and Stewart (Ronda) Treadway, eight grandchildren , Stephanie, Jacob, Neil, Anthony, Aimee, Adam, Jamie (Aaron) Brown and Michael, 3 great –grandchildren, Abagail , Connor, and Landon, sister Jeanie (Roy) Wilson, brother Ron (Luanne) Laux and nieces and nephews, Sandy, Lisa, Joe, Jenny, Paul and his former wife and friend, Ann Cowburn.
Bob retired from PTI as a Process Engineer and was a veteran of the US Army. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother, and grandpa. He will forever be remembered for his hilarious sense of humor. There was never a time when he couldn't make you smile. Even in life's hardest times he could find something to laugh at. His life is full of stories.
Visitation is Wed. March 12, noon until 2 pm at Newcomer Beavercreek Chapel, (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd Beavercreek, Ohio 45432) Interment will follow the service at Calvary Cemetery in Dayton.
