Robert Gordon LaRoe, 67, of Dayton, Ohio passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, January 9, 2013.
Known to his family and friends as Bob or Butch, Robert spent his career as a small business owner of Current Electric, as an electrician for which he had a true passion. He was a kind, generous, and loving father and friend. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, watching football, and playing cards.
Robert is survived by his three children; Kelly (Rhonda) Calhoun, Mike Calhoun, and Michele (LaRoe) Triplett; grandchildren; Kyle, Bobby, Cody, Caleb, Karlee, Kellen, Tucker, Weston, and Kerigan; Great-Grandchildren; Kayden and Alison; mother of his children Gayle (Masterson) LaRoe; siblings; David (Sheina) Gordon, Betty (Jerry) Hampton, and Linda Helm; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry and Bert Laroe.
