Robert Lairmore
Robert S. Lairmore, age 75 of Dayton, passed away January 9, 2011. He was born December 5, 1935 in Dayton to the late Robert W. and Elizabeth Lairmore. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brother, David W. Lairmore; and nephew, Christopher Lairmore.
Bob is survived by his wife of 30 years, Virgie Lairmore; son, David Lairmore; sister-in-law, Michelle Lairmore; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Bob retired from Wright State University after 16 years of service and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm on Thursday, January 13, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Friday. Burial to follow at Beaver Cemetery, where military honors will be performed by the U.S. Army.
