Robert L. Wright Sr., 85, of Dayton, passed away peacefully on January 25th.
Born and raised in Xenia, OH by parents Helen and Loren Wright, he graduated from St. Brigid High School (1942) and the University of Dayton (1949). He served overseas in the Army Air Corp during World War II as a B-17 gunner and bombardier. He was a salesman for the Berry Company and owner of the Wright Book Company until retirement in 1985.
Robert is preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Isabelle, and survived by son, Robert, Jr., daughter-in-law Karon, brother Don, sisters Catherine Simons and Patricia Matulionis and numerous nieces, nephews, and family friends.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 11am at Evergreen Cemetery, in West Carrollton.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
