Robert L. Rippetoe

Rippetoe, Robert L., age 88, of Moraine, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2011. Robert was a United States Army Veteran proudly serving during WWII with the 248th Signal Operations Company, and a member of American Legion #165 Miamisburg. Robert is survived by his daughter: Peggy Kolb; son and daughter-in-law: Denny (Fran) Rippetoe; three grandchildren: Jennifer Campbell, Kim (Ken) Seymour, Brian Kolb; 5 great grandchildren: Jessica, Brendan, Colt, Emily & Julia; sister: Madge Stehmeyer; and numerous other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by the mother of his children: Marguerite; second wife: Grace; third wife: Sue; and parents: Glenn & Bonnie Rippetoe. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, August 22, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering with Pastor Doug Surber officiating. Interment will follow the service at Miami Valley Memory Gardens in Centerville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday afternoon from 1:00 P.M. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
