Robert L. Lowery, Jr.

LOWERY, JR. Robert Lee, age 61 of Dayton, went to be with the Lord Friday, May 6, 2005. Bob was born on May 22, 1943 in Saltville, Virginia, but lived in Dayton for over 55 years. He served in the Air Force and retired from Ameritech in 1994. Bob is preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Lowery, Sr., his mother, Vivian (Catron) Chapman and his brother, Hervey Lowery. He is survived by Frances Louise Lowery, his wife of 22 years; 3 daughters and son-in-law's, Patricia and Steve Johnson, Susan and Johny Pettit, Robin and Les Wheatley; 6 grandchildren, Kayla, Nickolas, and Amanda Johnson, Christine, Courtney, and Cassie Vandevort; sisters, Inez Wharton, Bettie Tanner, and Judy Hatter; brother, Gary Chapman and a host of other relatives and friends. Dad you are greatly missed. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 12, 2005 from 5-8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home (4104 Needmore Rd.) where funeral services will be held Friday, May 13, 2005 at 1:00 p.m.
