Lovett, Robert L. (Rob)
Age 51, of Dayton, passed away Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008 at OhioStateMedicalCenter after his fight with Leukemia and other complications. He was born July 24, 1957 in Sidney, OH. He graduated from SidneyHigh School in 1975 where he was part of the marching band. He was a very loving and devoted husband to his wife and soulmate of 10 years, Jane E. Lovett. He was a truck driver, an avid fisherman and a devoted Nascar fan. He was always willing to help those in need and was an active member of the Boy Scouts during his youth. He leaves us with his love of laughter, fun, corny jokes, the outdoors, and animals. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him and he leaves us all with many treasured memories. He is survived by his wife, Jane; pets/children, Maxwell and Sierra. His mother, Helen McMaster Lehmann; sister, Chris (Paul) Voorhis; step-brothers, Ron (Sue) Lehmann, Alan (Judy) Lehmann, & step-sister, Kay (Mike) Hagerdon, as well as numerous other family members and close friends. Family will receive friends from 4-7 PM Thursday, October 16, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH. Funeral Services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home on Friday, October 17, 2008 at 11 AM. Burial will follow at WillowViewCemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Leukemia-Lymphoma Org. in Rob's memory.
