Robert E. Kroeker

Robert E. "Bob" Kroeker, age 75 of Vandalia, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on December 8, 2018. He was born November 5, 1943 in Hutchinson, Kansas to the late Elmer and Ella Kroeker.

Bob is survived by his wife of 51 years, Joyce Kroeker; sons: John (Debbie) Kroeker and Eric (Nancy) Kroeker; daughter, Karen (Kurt) Landes; 8 grandchildren, whom he dearly loved: Evan, Alex, Erin and Breanne Kroeker, Travis and Grace Kroeker, Kadison and Kolby Landes; brother, Rick (Billie) Kroeker; sisters: Jan (Greg) Silbernagel and Donna (Max) Sutton; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Bob loved "seed planting" by passing out Bibles with The Gideons International. He enjoyed remodeling houses and working with his hands. His love of travel, nature and photography took him and Joyce to all 50 states and many foreign countries throughout their years together. Most importantly, Bob loved spending time laughing with his family.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 pm on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, December 17 with Pastor Brad Lewis officiating. Burial to follow at Poplar Hill Cemetery, Vandalia. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Bob's memory to The Gideons International, Dayton NE Camp #34141, P.O.
