Age 86, of Englewood, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, September 25, 2010.
Robert was preceded in death by one son, Robert K. Magnuson, Jr.; his parents, Axel & Ada Magnuson; one brother, Jack Magnuson; and by two sisters, Dorothy Magnuson & Ruth Light.
Robert is survived by his wife of the past 64 years, Dorothy M. Magnuson.
Robert was a U. S. Army veteran having served during WW II and he retired from NCR with 35 years of service and then he went on to work for the City of Englewood for another six years. He was a member of Christian Life Center and served on various committees.
The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
