Robert John Bohls
Age 63, of Dayton, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 2, 2012.
Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Mary E. (Sieverding) Bohls; and by his parents, Albert & Margaret (Bell) Bohls.
Bob is survived by his dearest friends, Sabina Madrid and her son, Alex Saavedra; two sisters, Berenice (Noel) Baldwin and Marian (Keith) Farley; one niece, Laura (Martin) Muller; and by his extended family and many good friends.
Bob was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He retired with 32 years of service from GM/Delphi in Vandalia. Prior to that he was a U. S. Air Force veteran having served from 1970 – 73 stationed in Hawaii and Dover AFB in Delaware and then went on to graduate from Sinclair Community College with an Associates degree in Business. He volunteered for St. Vincent de Paul, enjoyed biking, running, gardening, travelling, reading, church activities and sports.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by Rev. Fr. Angelo Anthony at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday (4/10) at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 411 East Second Street, Dayton. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to Mass. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in memory of Bob to either St. Vincent de Paul or The Hospice of Dayton.
