Robert Jean Lawson

Robert J. Lawson, 88, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2024. Loving husband of Jean for 64 years, cherished father of Kathy Peters and Mark (Lisa) Lawson, adored grandfather of Kaitlyn Symes, Bobby (Emily) Symes, Caleb (Charissa) Lawson and Alydia Lawson, beloved great grandfather of Charlotte, Blake, RJ, Wyatt, Ezekiel, Elliott and Noelle. Bob is also survived by his siblings Alma Collins, Wilma Young, Nadean Skeans and Judy (Robert) McCoy, sister in law Ching Lawson as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. 

Bob was preceded in death by his parents Claude and Mary Lawson, brother Edward Lawson and brother in laws Ray Collins, Jack Young and John Skeans.

Bob was a very simple man. He had a lawnmower shop that he worked in for 20 years and he loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren with all of his heart. They always made him smile as well as his favorite daughter in law, Lisa.

Public visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton Xenia Rd.) on Wednesday October 9, 2024 at 10:30 am with funeral service to follow at 12:00 pm. He will be laid to rest at Forest Hills Memorial Garden.
