Robert J. Kothman, age 61, of Kettering went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 24, 2015.
Bob was born in Dayton on October 21, 1954 to Gerald & Patricia Kothman.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Kothman.
Bob is survived by his high school sweetheart and loving wife of 41 years, Carla Kothman, treasured son, Michael Kothman; mother, Patricia Kothman; brothers, Greg (Debbie) Kothman and Mike (Jenny) Kothman; sisters, Bev (Tom) Glockler and Kathy (Kerry) Baker; much-loved nieces, nephews and god children. In addition to his amazing family, he was survived by his many friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 29, 2015 from 5-8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 30, 2015 at 10:30 am at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (6245 Wilmington Pike, Dayton, OH 45459). Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bob's memory to The American Cancer Society.
