Robert "Bob" Howard, age 75, currently of Dayton, passed away Sunday, July 17, 2011.
He was preceded in death by his father, Homer B. Howard Sr.; siblings, Harold and Robin Howard.
Bob is survived by his loving & devoted wife of 57 years, Doris Howard; mother, Nell Howard; children, Deborah Terry, Darrell and Danny Howard; grandchildren, Chuck and Amanda Terry, Sarah (Tim) Aregood, Shane (Bekah) Howard, Stephen Howard and Justin Eldridge; great-grandchildren, Logan Terry, Cassidy Neeley Terry and Addison Howard; siblings, Pat Reno, Homer B. Jr., Dean and Roger Howard, and Bonnie Currant; and many other relatives and friends.
Bob served in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict.
He retired from Local IBEW 82 Electricians Union.
Bob was an avid golfer, fisherman, and race car enthusiast.
He was a Mason, and belonged to Horace A. Irvin Lodge 147.
Bob was loved and will be greatly missed.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 20, 2011 from 6-8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). A second visitation will take place Thursday, July 21, 2011 at Jones Preston Funeral Home ( 807 S Mayo Trl, Paintsville, KY 41240). The funeral will be held Friday, July 22, 2011 at 11AM, burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery in Paintsville, KY.
