Robert J. Gossett, age 81, of Dayton Ohio passed away Monday, February 25, 2013.
He was born in Lone Jack, Missouri June 3, 1931. He moved to Dayton in the 70's and was employed by Voss Chevrolet as General Manager. He also worked at Prudential Bache and Dean Witter as VP. From the 90's to present he was co-owner of Gossett & Crozier Investments and owner of Gossett Appraisal Service. He served in the Army from 53' to 55'.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Sue Gossett; his sons Gary (Gloria) Willeby of Mechanicsville, Va and David Gossett of Cocoa, Fl.; and one granddaughter, Genea Willeby.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Leota Gossett; one son Terry Gossett; four brothers Vernon, James, John and Glen Gossett.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4 to 7 pm Friday March 1, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Hospice of Dayton (324 Wilmington Ave, Dayton, OH 45420).
