Robert J. "Bob" Miller

Robert J. "Bob" Miller, age 85, of Centerville, passed away on August 9, 2024. He was born in Dayton, Ohio, on April 15, 1939, the son of the late Vernon and Rosella Miller. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, William "Bill" Miller.

Bob is survived by his wife of 48 years, Darlene Miller; children, Angela (Jonathan) Lu, Bob (Carmen) Miller and Vicki (Wolfgang) Dietz; step-children, Laura Glaser, Lisa (Dave) Hyatt and Lynne (Bob) Peterson; grandchildren, Aiden, Ava, Aria, Aida, Jason, Jeremy, Nicole, Brittany, Lauren, Michael, Matthew, Jessica, Alex and Ashton; great grandchildren, Lucas and Damascus; brother, Chuck (Goldie) Miller; and many other loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Bob retired from Kroger, after 45 years of employment. In his free time, he enjoyed golfing and attending various family events. Bob was also a very active member with the Dayton Dog Training Club and the Gem City Dog Obedience Club for many years. 

Visitation will be held from 2:00pm-4:00pm, on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, where a Memorial Service will begin at 4:00pm. Inurnment will be held at Calvary Cemetery, Dayton, at a later date with the family.
