Robert Houk Jr.

Houk, Robert Jr., age 80, of Dayton, passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2008. Robert retired from Dayton Fabricated Steel with over 35 years of service and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #321 Dayton since 1963.

Robert is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: Robert J. (Karen) Houk; daughters and son-in-law: Colleen "Sue" Houk, Joanna (Junior) Cupp; grandchildren: Dawn (Eric) Mummey, Rob Houk, Bobby (Marci) Mobley, Jack Houk, Karen Cupp, John Cupp; great grandchildren: Emma Mummey, Hailey Mobley; brothers: Kenny (Luanne) Houk, John Houk; sister: Betty (Joe) Hetricks. He was preceded in death by his parents: Robert Sr. & Harriet Houk and brother: George Houk.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, September 15, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering with Pastor Andrew Brewster officiating. Interment will follow the service at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday afternoon from 1:00 P.M. until time of service.
