Robert Carl Holmes, age 27 of Englewood, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021. He was born July 25, 1993 in Dayton, Ohio the son of Jeffrey and Melanie (West) Holmes.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert and Mary Holmes; maternal grandparents, Carl West and Betty Redner; uncle, Tim Adams and cousin, Carrie Fleming.
Robert is survived by his loving parents Jeffrey and Melanie Holmes; aunts and uncles, Susan and Bob Williams, Cheri (Timothy Manson) Glanton, Sheilah and Anthony Gattliff, Kim Adams, Jeffrey West, Scott (Beverly Conners) Holmes, Doug and Sandy Holmes; special friends, Amber Bowermaster, Lauren Davidson and Mikey Libecap; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
He had the biggest heart who was loved dearly by his family and friends. Robert was caring and helpful to all who knew him. He loved his family deeply, especially his late grandmother, Mary Holmes. Robert was a 2011 graduate of Fairmont High School in Kettering, Ohio where he had a host of close friends.
A memorial service will take place at 10:00 AM on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at New Life Worship Center, 3350 Benchwood Road, Dayton, Ohio. Pastor Tom Friend will officiate Robert's service.
