Robert L. Hemming Sr.

Robert L. "Bob" Hemming Sr., age 82 of West Carrollton, OH, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 16, 2017. He was born September 18, 1935 in Adams County, Ohio to John and Vacal (Miller) Hemming. Bob married Alma Jean Sizemore on September 3, 1960 in Dayton, OH.

Bob graduated from Peebles High School and worked as a job setter for Associated Springs Corporation. He was a Pentecostal Minister and was a member of the Spaulding Road Church of God and Valley Street Church of God. Bob enjoyed woodworking and working with his hands and loved bird watching. He loved his family and especially his grandkids dearly and will be greatly missed by all.

Robert is survived by his wife, best friend and constant companion Jean; three sons, Michael (Dawanna) Hemming, Rick (Emily) Hemming and Robert (Debbie) Hemming Jr.; 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; a brother, John Hemming; a sister, Janet Howell; and numerous other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Brenda Logan; brothers Barney, Charles and Bill; sisters Norma, Rosalie, Pearl and Ruby; his father and mother in law, Sam and Phrona Sizemore.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 10:00 am at Spaulding Road Church Of God, 1658 Spaulding Road., Dayton, Ohio with Pastor Larry Thomas officiating. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the church. Burial will follow the service at Woodland Cemetery.
