Robert Douglas Hatmaker

Robert Douglas Hatmaker, age 56 of Dayton, passed away Monday, January 16, 2023 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born on Easter Sunday, April 10, 1966 in Madrid, Spain the son of Jerry and Carol Hatmaker.
Rob was an avid fisherman and loved anything to do with being at the lake or surrounded by water. Music was his passion and he was talented with many instruments, especially the guitar. Rob also enjoyed mixing and recording. He loved all genres of music, but hard rock and roll was his favorite. Mechanically, he could fix anything. He enjoyed spending time with Maddy, his favorite pup.
He is preceded in death by his mother.
Robert is survived by his father; daughter, Danielle (Aaron) Palmer; sister, Mendy (Kevin) Wright; brother, Scott (Tina) Hatmaker; and numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 25, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm with a service at 2:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432).
