Robert Lee Hahn
August 31, 1954 — February 28, 2023
On Monday, February 28th, 2023, Robert L. Hahn passed away at 68 years of age. He leaves behind wife, Jacqueline; daughter, Ricki (Brian); and sisters: Julie (Jeff) and Pamela. He is preceded by parents Virginia and Robert E. Hahn.
Robert worked tirelessly his entire life, and always found a way to provide for his family. As an industrial printer he met many people and worked nearly all aspects of the printing companies. His taste in music spanned the decades from swing to rock to metal and included bands from across the globe. Creative and artistic, he passed on many skills and talents to his daughter. Wherever he lived, he had an entire room dedicated to arts, crafts and supplies. He loved woodworking, puzzles, gardening, and creating masterpieces out of Legos with his daughter. Robert also loved spending time in the yard, working flower beds, landscaping, and making the yard beautiful which was admired by passersby. The entire family and neighborhood could enjoy his hard work when the weather was nice. He designed and built a brick patio in the backyard, which became a community center for many years.
His version of bedtime stories was not fairy tales or talking animals on adventures but rather reading about NASA, dinosaurs, science and keeping up with the latest adventures of space exploration and discoveries of paleontology. Imagination and science fiction was still encouraged, but so was education.
Robert was loved by all, mankind and animals alike. Although he will always be loved and missed, he is in a better place with no worries or pain.
The family will be holding a private memorial service at a later date to be determined.
