Robert L. Haddick "Bobbie Lynn" age 71 of Huber Heights, passed away September 17, 2020. Bobbie Lynn was born June 16, 1949 in Rome, New York to the late Harold and Elizabeth Haddick. In addition to his parents, Bobbie Lynn was preceded in death by his brother, William "Bill" Haddick; second wife, Carol Haddick; and son-in-law, Greg Fletcher.
Bobbie Lynn is survived by his wife, Lisa Haddick; children: Chris Haddick (Lisa), Jennifer Fletcher (Doug Renner) and Leah Renner (Kasey Jewell); grandchildren: Courtney Manning (Skylar), Ashley Higbee (Greg), Carrie Haddick, Robert Haddick, Kristen Haddick (Jason Clark), Gabrielle Fletcher (Lucas Kibbe), Evan Fletcher, Chastity Barton and Kaitlynne Jones; great-grandchildren: Elizabeth Haddick, Ry'Lee Williams and soon to be Izabell Barton; brother, Richard Haddick (Pam); many nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, including: Steve "Pappy" Guffey, Amanda Howar and her daughter, Aaliyah Lawson. Bobbie Lynn is also survived by his beloved dogs: Rocket, Zeus, Bailey and Oscar.
Bob was a distinguished Vietnam Veteran, who served his country in the U.S. Air Force, and retired after 23 years of service. After retirement he worked for the U.S. Department of Defense.
Bobbie Lynn was very active in the LGBTQ community, and enjoyed participating in local parades and functions. He loved to look beautiful and enjoyed dressing up, wearing makeup and jewelry. He taught his family and friends that no matter what you look like or who you are, Love is Love.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5-8 pm on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road. Military honors will be performed at 5:00 pm. Contributions may be made in Bobbie Lynn's memory to any LGBTQ organization of your choice.
