Robert Guy

Robert M. Guy, 84, of Dayton, peacefully passed away on Monday, August 8, 2022, one month prior to his 85th birthday. He was born September 4, 1937, in Lima, Ohio to the late Charles and Josephine (Reed) Guy. He graduated from Lima Central High School and then furthered his education by attending Purdue University, earning a Bachelor's Degree in economics.

Bob enjoyed volunteering at the Air Force Museum, collecting lighthouse photos, fishing with his family, and handy man work. He was a devoted family man.

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Linda Guy; son, Jeff (Linda) Guy; daughter, Barbara Martin; four grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Lorine Miller.

A Gathering of Friends and Family will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2022 from 2:30PM to 3:00PM at Newcomer Centerville (820 Miamisburg-Centerville Road, Dayton, OH 45459). A Memorial Service will follow beginning at 3:00PM, with Pastor Doug Surber officiating.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Bravo Restaurant ( 2770 Miamisburg - Centerville Rd, Dayton) on Saturday, August 13, 2022, from 4-7PM.
