Robert E. Fultz

Robert “Bob” Fultz, age 90, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2024. Born on January 4, 1934, in Carter, Kentucky, Bob was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend who brought warmth, kindness, and laughter to all who knew him.

Bob was known for his deep love of the outdoors, his affinity for animals, and his passion for boxing and science fiction shows. He was a natural caretaker who always put his family first, ensuring that those he loved felt safe and supported. His granddaughters remember him fondly as the grandfather who chased them around the house, greeted them with snacks, and made sure they always got home safely. To the neighborhood kids who often came by for a treat, he was “Pawpaw,” a grandpa to all and a friend to many.

Known by friends as “Bob,” he had a gift for storytelling, sharing captivating tales from his life that left listeners spellbound. His stories, full of adventure and wit, painted the picture of a man who had truly lived an amazing life.

Bob was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Clark-Manning, and his father, Albert Manning. He is survived by his ex-wife, Delores Fultz; daughter, Tilkia Fultz; granddaughters, Kamanea Fultz and Fame Fultz; and two great-grandsons, Kodrick Swanson and Saman Fultz-White. Though he faced the loss of his parents early in life, he built a family of love and care that extended to everyone around him.

Family members believe he may still have relatives in Springfield, OH, and parts of Kentucky, though their locations have been lost to time.

Bob will be dearly missed by his family and friends, especially for his warm presence and the many stories that will continue to be told in his honor. He was everyone’s grandpa and will always be remembered for the love he gave so freely.
