Robert John Flood, age 88, of Greene County, passed away Friday, December 22, 2023. Robert was born in Toledo, Ohio on January 23, 1935.
Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Hazel Flood; sister, Joan Francis and his brother, J. David Flood.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Kathryn Flood (Daines); brother, Thomas Flood; daughters, Juanita Davis (Flood), Regina (Ed) Pike (Flood); son, R. Warren Flood; four grandchildren, Ben (Megan) Pike, Branden (Tracy) Pike, Lanita (Kyle) Williamson and Lyn (Lisa) Carey-Davis; nine great-grandchildren, Kaden, Cordelia, Chloe Pike, Ryder, Kipton Barnhart-Pike, Avery Williamson, Dylan, C.D., and Vincent Carey-Davis.
He worked at Kettering Hospital for 46 years, he was the Foreman of the Lock and Sign department.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 from 11:30-1:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek), with funeral services being held at 1:00pm. Robert will be laid to rest at Valley View Memorial Gardens in Xenia.
