Robert Fisher

FISHER, Robert Elden, 76, of Vincennes, IN formerly of New Lebanon passed away Tuesday February 6, 2007, at Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born April 7, 1930 in Denton, MD to parents Cassius Clay and Emma (Bates) Fisher. Robert was a United Postal Carrier with the U.S. government for over 30 years before retiring. He was an Army veteran having served in the Korean War. Robert is preceded in death by his first wife Mary C. (Sage) Fisher, March 21, 2001. He is survived by his wife Dorothy (Siewers) Fisher; children Mary T. Asher, Robert B. (Dana) Fisher, and Cathy J. Fisher; step children Vicki (Ron) Boulting, Joseph H. Siewers, Mary (David) Riley, William Siewers, Carol Ellermann, Nick (Michelle) Siewers, Scott (Gayle) Siewers, Cheryl (Kevin) Deane; three grandchildren; 23 step-grandchildren; 6 step-great-grandchildren; and brother Whitfield Fisher. A celebration of life service will be conducted at 10:30 am EST Monday at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Dayton, Ohio. Burial will be in Dayton National Cemetery.
