Robert E. "Bob" Farrell, age 84 of Dayton, passed away February 23, 2014. He was born June 8, 1929 in Ft. Wayne, IN to the late Clayton and Aline Farrell.
Bob is survived by his wife of nearly 67 years, Patsy Farrell; daughter, Marcia Schwab; son, Richard Farrell; 2 grandchildren: Dawn Schwab and Eric (Ally) Farrell; and 4 great grandchildren: Cheri Schwab, Conrad Longstreth, Kyan Conn and Cadence Conn.
Bob was employed in the trucking industry, retiring in 1989 after more than 30 years of service.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, where the family will receive friends for two hours prior to the service, from 1-3 pm.
