WOLFE, Robert Frank, age 62, of Vandalia, went home to be with the Lord unexpectedly Thursday, August 23, 2012.
He was born September 10, 1949 in Dayton, Ohio. Bob served as an associate Pastor at First Baptist Church of Northridge after retiring from Brinks after 20 years, was a huge NASCAR fan and worked part time for Newcomer Funeral Home where he was very much appreciated. He served with the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Mary Wolfe; one daughter, Stephanie Wolfe and her fiancé, Chris Schrader of Loudon, TN; three grandsons, Toran, Tekoa and Raphael; mother, Viola Wolfe; one brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Pat Wolfe and their family of Pennsylvania; One Sister-In-Law and Brother-In-Law, Linda and Paul Meece of Vandalia.
Bob was preceded in death by his Father, Russell Wolfe and one Grandson, Enoch Schrader. Pastor Steve Veg officiating.
