Robert Vincin Ely, age 77 of Dayton, passed away Sunday, March 23, 2014 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born April 17, 1936 in Jonesville, Virginia the son of Apsy and Margie Ely.
He is preceded in death by his parents; a son, Keith Ely.
Robert is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth; a son - Mark Ely; 2 Daughters - Pam Boos (Steve) and Leslie Morgan (Jamie); 5 brothers - Junior Ely, David Ely, James Ely, Paul Ely, and Gene Ely (Jeannie); a sister - Kathleen Monday; 8 Grandchildren - Rylin, Shelbie, Matthew, Josh, James, Keith, Kristopher and Nicholas. He is also survived by numerous family members and friends.
Funeral Service will be held Friday, March 28, 2014 at 6:30 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432). Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 pm until time of service at Newcomer Funeral Home. Please visit www.newcomerdayton.com to share a memory in the family guest book.
