Robert E. Sharrett

SHARRETT, Robert E., age 84, of Dayton, passed away Friday, February 03, 2012. He was born March 1, 1927 in Dayton, OH, to the late Irvin and Grace Sharrett.

Robert was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and a member of American Legion Post 613. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Ruby Sharrett; son, Steve Sharrett; daughters, Patti Filion and Sandi Scott; brother, William W. Sharrett of Jacksonville, Fl; half brothers, Henry I and John H. Sharrett in Kingsport, Tn, Lawerence D. Sharrett of Bristol Va.; half sisters, Barbra L. Hochwalt of Dayton, Ohio and Anna K. West of Rodgersville, Tn. grandchildren, Stephanie Sharrett, Matt Karas, Candy Filion, Justin Filion, Shawna Filion, Kristine Stark, Jason Sharrett and Jessica Bailey; great-grandchildren, Mary Jane Karas, Ethan Karas, Tadd Ewing, Katrina Ewing, Jordan Tachell, Belle Filion, Zoe Filion, KaiaLani Caravalho, Anella Henning and Rae Lynn Bailey; great-great-grandchild, Josie Johnson.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Irvin A. Sharrett Jr. of Dayton, Oh, Earl E. Sharrett of Trotwood, Oh and Donald L. Sharrett of Celina, Oh.
