Shambach, Robert E. "Bob", 78, of Riverside, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2016.
Bob was a native of Fayetteville, PA. He retired as a Senior Master Sergeant from the US Air Force after 22 years of dedicated service. He continued his career as an Aircraft Development Consultant at WPAFB finally retiring in 2001. Bob was a lifelong fisherman and gardener.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, JoAnn (Gabbert) Shambach; 2 sons, David E. Shambach and wife, Robin, Michael R. Shambach; 2 grandsons, Glenn Shambach, Ross Shambach, and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation 6:00pm until 8:00pm Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home 4104 Needmore Rd., where funeral service will be held 9:00am Friday, July 29, 2016. Burial, with Air Force Honors, will follow at Dayton National Cemetery.
If desired, contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami Valley in Bob's memory.
