Robert Edward Andrews, age 73, passed away on December 23, 2014.
He was born on November 20, 1941 in Fort Madison, Iowa to the late Harold & Madeline Andrews.
Robert served 2 terms in the U.S. Army during 1964-1966; spending 5 months in Okinawa, Japan; the Army National Guard, and the Army Reserves. He was employed at the General Motors Truck & Bus Plant in Moraine for 30 years. Robert loved watching baseball, football, basketball, and Nascar racing. He enjoyed fishing, photography, and taking cruises.
Robert is survived by his many friends. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 12:00 pm at David's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Hospice of Dayton or the V.A. Hospice. Arrangements entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel.
