Robert "Bob" Eugene Dawson, born July 24, 1938, the son of Archie Eugene and Helen Marie (Brittingham) Dawson.
Bob is preceded in death by his first wife, Pat Bennet; mother, Helen Marie (Brittingham) Dawson; father, Archie Eugene Dawson; step-father, Denver (Pat) Palmer; sister, Patty Dawson, brother-in-law, Allen Chambliss; sister, Patty Jean Driscoll; brother, Denver Eugene Palmer; son-in-law, Jim Lay; and his beloved grandson, Nichols Dawson.
Bob is survived by his wife, Susan Kay (Long) Dawson; daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Bill (Dawson) Bailey; daughter, Cindy Lay; son and daughter-in-law, Robert Eugene and Barb Dawson Jr.; son, Anthony Dawson, daughter, Danice (Sis) Dawson Linares; sister, Helen Palmer Parks; brother, Archie Michael Dawson; baby sisters, Diannel Palmer and Emitt Hall; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a ton of nieces and nephews.
We will forever miss you as a father, son, grandpa, brother and uncle.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2023 from 3:00pm-5:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio, 45432.
