Robert E. Daniel

Robert "Bobby" E. Daniel, age 64 of Dayton, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2018. He was born in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Edna and George Daniel. After completing his education, Bobby enlisted in the United States Army. He faithfully and honorably served for two years.

Bobby met the love of his life Sheila York in 1982. They married 1986. Bobby took great pride in his family and loved to dote on his grandchildren. He will be remembered for his passion for life and sense of humor. He always could make you laugh or bring a smile to your face.

He was a loving, caring, and compassionate husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his siblings, George Daniel, Jr., Ed Daniel, Leah Sharp, Karen Brown, Cindy Costlow, and Becky Medley; and grandson, William Mulcare.

Robert leaves to cherish his memory, loving wife of 35 years, Sheila Daniel; sons, Allen (Janette) Daniel and John Daniel; daughter, Julia Tigner; sisters, Judy (Paul) Leasure and Michelle (Kenimer) Tucker; grandchildren, Charles Boyd, Jr., Hallie Tigner, Skyler Tigner, John A. (Shelby) Daniel, Jr., Anthony (Emily) Daniel, Jackie (Casey) Daniel, Jacob Daniel, and Rhea Daniel; great-grandchildren, William, Nevaeh, Brailen and their mother, Ashley; and Owen, and Paisley; brother-in-law, Greg (Wendy)York; sister-in-law, Cathy (Sandy) York; and numerous loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, May 11, 2018 from 4pm-7pm. A Celebration of Bobby's life will follow at 7pm.
