Robert H. Cummings, age 70 of Beavercreek, passed away Thursday, February 20, 2020 peacefully at his home . He was born December 28, 1949 in Dayton, Ohio. the son of Hoyt and Iris Cummings.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Hoyt and Iris Cummings and brother-in-law Doug Claxton.
Bob loved woodworking, sports, the UD Flyers, Cincinnati Bengals and The Ohio State Buckeyes. He was a Vietnam veteran of the US Army. He retired in 2019 from Far Oaks Orthopedists.
Robert is survived by his wife of 42 years Patricia; daughter, Kellie M. (Kyle) Hennessey and son, Kyle R. (Chevon ) Cummings; sisters, Patricia A. Cummings, Connie Claxton, Judy E. (Jim) Bussell; three grandchildren, Alex, Liam and Ava . He is also survived by numerous family and friends.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2020 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432).
