Robert W. Critell, Jr.

Robert W. Critell, Jr. "Bob", age 68 of Dayton, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2017 at Dayton V.A. Medical Center. He was born May 22, 1948 in Elyria, OH to the late Robert Sr. and Agnes M. (Davis) Critell.
He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Brenda Critell; children, Robert W. (Becky) Critell III, Tracy A. (Rob) Krayer, Mary E. (Steven) Wuellner and Anthony T. (Kelli) Critell; grandchildren, Corey Critell, Branden Critell, Devin Critell, Tyler J. Krayer, Lillith Krayer and Felicity Freeman; brothers, Bill and James Critell and their families; He is also survived by his Vietnam veteran family.
Bob proudly served his country during Vietnam in the U.S. Navy. He was District Commander and Post Commander for V.F.W. District 3. Bob also was five-time Post Commander and three-time All-American and All-State Commander.
A visitation and service will be from 1:30 to 3:00 PM on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd where a funeral service will begin at 2 PM. Military Honors by the U.S. Navy and his family will immediately follow the service.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to VFW of Ohio Charities, P.O. Box 15129, Columbus, OH 453215 in Bob's memory.
