Robert M. "Bob" Craven age 67, of Beavercreek passed away January 19, 2020 at Jewish Hospital Cancer Care Center in Cincinnati.
He was born on March 4, 1952 in Covington, Kentucky to John and Dorothea Craven.
Bob retired after 40 years of service at WPAFB.
He was an alumnus of Miami University and the University of Dayton.
Bob was a diehard fan of the Cincinnati Reds and Bengals…no matter how bad/good the season was. He was a horrible golfer who loved the game and a reluctant buddy of his cat, Otto.
He served as an Elder at Risen Christ Lutheran Church in Springfield. Bob taught various Bible studies over the years and was a faithful disciple of Christ who will be deeply missed in this life but joyously celebrated in his new eternal life!
Bob was preceded in death by his father and brother, John, Jr.
He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Jan (Polley) Craven; mother Dorothea Craven; daughter Tracey (Daniel) Davis; son Dan Craven; grandchildren Kai, Jack, Sam and Katie; brother James (Kathy) Craven; nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Bob's Life will be held Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 11:00 am officiated by Pastor Clayton Vail at Risen Christ Lutheran Church, 41 E. Possum Rd. in Springfield, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Risen Christ Lutheran Church in Bob's memory.
