Robert Eugene Cosner

Robert Eugene Cosner, age 91, of Xenia, passed away August 9, 2023. Robert was born in Hancock County, Ohio on May 3, 1932 to the late Avery and Zella Cosner.
Robert is preceded in death by his wife, Berniece (Rozelle) Cosner; second wife, Flo (Knotts) Cosner; adopted daughter, Amy Link; adopted son, Christopher Cosner; brothers, Keith Cosner, Edward Cosner and Charles Cosner; granddaughter, Sherry Eagle; and great-grandson, Joshua Eagle.
He is survived by daughters, Connie Smith and Bonnie Rhoden; son, Ronald Cosner (Sue); sister, Carol Parisian; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Robert was the founder of Xenia Midwest Bluegrass with his second wife, Flo. He was also a member of member of Ledbetter Road Church of God, Kentucky Colonels and the Xenia Senior Citizens Center. Robert was a foster parent for 36 years with his first wife, Berniece. He was a born and bred Buckeye Fan.
Visitation will be held from 10:00am-11:00am on August 17, 2023 at Ledbetter Road Church of God (325 Ledbetter Rd., Xenia, OH 45385), where funeral services will begin at 11:00am. Robert will be laid to rest at Sunset Cemetery at 1:30pm.
