Robert Collins

Robert "Bob" Collins, age 71, of Dayton, passed away on June 11, 2012. He was born on October 8, 1940 to the late Robert and Vera Collins. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his two brothers, Dan and Gary Collins; and special friend, Ruth Ann Hussong.

Bob is survived by the mother of his children, Patricia; 11 children, Michael (Angela) Collins, Julie Collins, Nancy (Troy) Helterbran, Stephen Collins, Brian (Christy) Collins, Leslie Collins, Kevin (Kelli) Collins, Jamie Collins, Krissy Sark, Jennifer Sark and Megan "Hootie" Sark; 32 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sister, Carol (Fred) Haupstueck; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and good friends.

Bob honorably served his country in the United States Army. He worked as a tool and die maker and he was a member of the Dabel Eagles 3031.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday June 14, 2012 at 7:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd, where the family will receive friends for two hours prior from 5:00-7:00 pm.
